Remote Senior Staff Platform Engineer

• We are looking for a senior staff platform engineer to define the cloud architecture landscape and guide development teams.
• The role requires expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Observability tooling, Security, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, FinOps, and Automation.
• You will lead the development and adoption of our AWS infrastructure and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Your technical and soft skills will be crucial in this role.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering, focusing on scalable infrastructure, automation, and cross-team collaboration.
• You should have a proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines for various languages (Node, Java, PHP) using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and coding with Bash, Node, and Python is required.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation, is necessary.
• You must have deep expertise with AWS, covering a wide range of services.
• Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and supporting cloud architecture is essential.
• Familiarity with observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Elastic) and AWS security services is required.
• You should understand AWS Well-Architected Principles and robust infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with implementing disaster recovery processes and awareness of cloud cost control is necessary.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required, with the ability to execute initiatives efficiently.
