Remote Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack)

• Neura is seeking a full-time Senior/Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help revolutionize neurology care.

• The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and healthcare challenges, demonstrating excellent engineering skills while being mission-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.
• The engineer will report directly to the CTO and share coding and technical lead responsibilities.
• The technical stack includes React Native for mobile apps, React for the frontend, and Firebase/Google Cloud in Node.js for the backend, primarily using TypeScript.
• In the first 3 months, the engineer will learn about the entire engineering stack, healthcare operations, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• In the first 6 months, the engineer will own components of the care-delivery infrastructure and develop tools to optimize operations and clinical workflows.
• Within 1 year, the engineer will be a key member of the engineering leadership team, partnering with operations to deliver high-quality care efficiently.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering, ideally in full-stack development.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and work across the entire stack in multiple languages is essential.
• A solid background in writing understandable, testable, and efficient code is required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders is necessary.
• Candidates should be empathetic, mission-driven, collaborative, precise, transparent, compassionate, and results-oriented.
