Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 8+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or related domains.
  • Deep expertise in authentication, authorization, RBAC, role & permission modeling, and industry standards/protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM is required.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale migrations or architectural overhauls from legacy systems is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, C#, Go, or Node.js, along with associated frameworks, is necessary.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and performance optimization is required.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills are needed to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Candidates should have experience influencing architectural direction and achieving consensus across teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native identity services (AWS Cognito, Azure AD, Okta, Auth0) and zero-trust architectures is preferred.
  • A background in building multi-tenant SaaS identity systems and mentoring senior engineers is advantageous.
