Remote Senior Staff Software Engineer (Senior Frontend Architect)

Description:

• The role involves building high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes, including code reviews and unit testing.
• You will work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users.
• The position requires implementing software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs.
• You will contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
• Mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing is an essential part of this role.

Requirements:

• You must have experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, and analyzing AI-driven insights.
• Experience with AI productivity tools such as Cursor and Windsurf is a plus.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented language is required.
• A passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, along with a focus on reusability and componentization, is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations is necessary.
• In-depth working experience in the User Experience-based architectural problem space is required.
• You should be well aware of UX performance optimization, building scalable UI systems, and UI integration with GenAI/Agentic AI.
• Extensive experience and knowledge about UI libraries, including React, Angular, or similar libraries, is required.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue is necessary.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with relational databases, including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, is required.
• Experience with multiple technology stacks, including Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks, or service-oriented architecture, is essential.
• The capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes is required; you may serve as a functional lead or technical owner.
