Aerospike is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Support Engineer to join their Global Customer Support team.
The role involves investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex customer issues with the Aerospike Real-time Data Platform.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues for Aerospike customers across diverse environments such as cloud, hybrid, and on-premises.
The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering to drive resolution of complex problems and contribute to product improvement.
Participation in real-time customer remediation efforts and live incident resolution is required.
The engineer will act as a customer advocate to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution.
Support for enterprise customers with mission-critical systems and real-time data use cases is essential.
The role includes assisting with new deployments, configuration guidance, and performance tuning.
Writing and maintaining high-quality documentation and Knowledge Base articles to scale support capabilities is expected.
Contribution to a collaborative, agile, and globally distributed support team is part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience of 7–10+ years in technical support, systems engineering, or related roles.
A deep proficiency with Linux is required, and certification is a strong plus.
A solid understanding of distributed systems and high-availability environments is necessary.
Hands-on experience with NoSQL or similar database platforms is required, with Aerospike experience being a bonus.
Familiarity with hybrid and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, is essential.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills are necessary, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates should be comfortable in a dynamic environment and be self-starters with a growth mindset.

Aerospike offers a competitive salary range for California-based applicants, between $150,000 and $180,000, with actual compensation determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
