CloudWerx is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant specializing in Google Cloud Platform to join their Professional Services Team remotely in the US.
The role involves guiding clients through their cloud adoption journey, ensuring the implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
The consultant will be a client-facing, billable professional expected to solve complex challenges and deliver value.
Responsibilities include engagement scoping and planning, technical leadership, solution design and implementation, quality assurance, security and compliance, and client relationship management.
The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to define project scopes, assess client environments, lead technical discussions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
The position requires hands-on technical expertise in GCP services and best practices, as well as the ability to mentor junior consultants.
This is a full-time position with an immediate start.
Requirements:
Candidates must have deep hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and managing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in designing scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud architectures on GCP is required.
Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, Terraform, and Shell scripting are necessary.
Expertise in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential.
A solid understanding of networking principles and their application within GCP is required.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Familiarity with data management and analytics services on GCP, as well as identity and access management (IAM), is important.
Candidates should have proven consulting and leadership skills, with the ability to lead technical engagements and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
A thorough understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks relevant to GCP is required.
Experience implementing and auditing secure cloud environments is necessary.
