The Senior WooCommerce Web Developer will work remotely in a full-time capacity, reporting to the Lead CRO Director of E-Commerce.
The role involves building and launching A/B tests, extending WooCommerce for personalization and dynamic pricing, and ensuring seamless data flow into analytics tools.
The developer will take full technical ownership, innovate freely, and see their work directly impact revenue and user experience.
Responsibilities include building new layouts, features, and A/B tests in VWO, maintaining a fast experiment cadence with solid quality assurance, and extending WooCommerce with custom hooks, filters, and plugins.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with VWO, Optimizely, or Convert, demonstrating measurable lifts in conversion.
A deep understanding of PHP 8 and experience customizing WooCommerce is required.
Strong skills in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and front-end work with React or Vue are essential.
Experience in building and consuming REST APIs is necessary.
Familiarity with server-side tagging and tools like Docker or cloud platforms is expected.
Bonus points for candidates with knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, SQL for cohort analysis, WooCommerce performance tuning, and experience with feature flags or growth teams.
