The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, theme customization, plugin management, and best practices for content publishing and SEO.
Key responsibilities include managing, updating, and maintaining the company’s WordPress website, developing and customizing WordPress themes and templates to meet content and branding needs.
The candidate will install, configure, and manage plugins to extend website functionality.
Ensuring site performance, speed optimization, and responsiveness across all devices is essential.
The role involves collaborating with content creators, designers, and marketers to implement new features and publish content.
Monitoring website health, security, and uptime, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed, is required.
The candidate will implement and maintain SEO best practices.
Performing regular backups and updates of core, themes, and plugins is necessary.
Generating and analyzing website reports using tools like Google Analytics or other monitoring software is part of the job.
Proven experience with WordPress development and administration is required.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential.
Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and block editors (Gutenberg) is necessary, along with experience in SEO, web performance optimization, and accessibility.
