  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, theme customization, plugin management, and best practices for content publishing and SEO.
  • Key responsibilities include managing, updating, and maintaining the company’s WordPress website, developing and customizing WordPress themes and templates to meet content and branding needs.
  • The candidate will install, configure, and manage plugins to extend website functionality.
  • Ensuring site performance, speed optimization, and responsiveness across all devices is essential.
  • The role involves collaborating with content creators, designers, and marketers to implement new features and publish content.
  • Monitoring website health, security, and uptime, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as needed, is required.
  • The candidate will implement and maintain SEO best practices.
  • Performing regular backups and updates of core, themes, and plugins is necessary.
  • Generating and analyzing website reports using tools like Google Analytics or other monitoring software is part of the job.
  • Proven experience with WordPress development and administration is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential.
  • Familiarity with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and block editors (Gutenberg) is necessary, along with experience in SEO, web performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus, as is knowledge of security best practices for WordPress.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is important.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working with content-heavy or high-traffic WordPress sites, understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design, and familiarity with hosting environments (e.g., cPanel, Kinsta, WP Engine).
