The role of Full-Stack Shopify Developer involves supporting the design, development, and optimization of high-performing e-commerce sites.
This position requires deep technical experience across front- and back-end Shopify development, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and detail.
The developer will collaborate with design, marketing, and strategy teams to build, maintain, and improve custom storefronts that align with business goals.
This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone, open to candidates based in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and Mexico.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Shopify websites.
Proficiency in Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is required.
Experience with Shopify API integrations and custom app development is necessary.
Knowledge of Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development is preferred.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows is essential.
A strong understanding of website optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and analytics is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are necessary.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Shopify Plus and headless commerce architectures, experience with GraphQL, and relevant frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar).
Previous experience in an agency or fast-paced e-commerce environment is also preferred.
