Jobgether is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Czechia to join a high-performing engineering team.
The role involves maintaining and scaling critical infrastructure for cloud-based applications.
Responsibilities include building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system performance, uptime, and reliability.
The engineer will focus on automation and scalability, collaborating closely with developers to integrate new services.
Key tasks include designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
The engineer will optimize and manage AWS environments for cost-efficiency, security, and availability.
Responsibilities also include administering and scaling Kafka and Confluent Cloud for real-time data streaming.
The role requires deploying and maintaining Redis to support caching and high-speed data processing.
Implementing monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and OpsGenie is essential.
The engineer will manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, and Kustomize.
Safe and controlled deployments will be ensured using LaunchDarkly for feature flagging.
Collaboration with development teams to support feature integration and performance optimization is expected.
The engineer will drive continuous improvement by adopting emerging tools and best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and scalable architecture design is required.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt is necessary.
A deep understanding of Kubernetes, including Helm, ArgoCD, and Istio, is essential.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, and Confluent Cloud is required.
Proficiency in monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager is necessary.
Development experience with NodeJS, Python, or GoLang is required.
Familiarity with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Chaos Search is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Experience with agile teams and collaborative environments is required.
Bonus points for experience in multi-cloud setups (GCP, Azure), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), or serverless architectures.
