The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role at Xplor focuses on treating operations as a software problem to safeguard and optimize systems behind services.
The position involves evolving and supporting an Azure-based SaaS platform, with an emphasis on integrated payments systems.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines, building resilient cloud infrastructure on Azure, and optimizing platform performance and reliability.
The SRE will contribute to architecture and automation strategies for PCI-compliant payment services and lead incident response efforts.
The role requires implementing observability across the platform and writing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Collaboration with engineering teams to embed reliability, scalability, and security into the development lifecycle is essential.
Participation in on-call rotations for production support is also required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3–5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
Hands-on experience supporting Azure-native platforms at scale is required, including AKS, App Services, and Azure Functions.
A proven track record in designing and optimizing secure CI/CD pipelines, including the use of code quality and security scanning tools like SonarCloud, is necessary.
Experience with SaaS platforms in a cloud-native environment, particularly with integrated payments systems or PCI-sensitive workloads, is preferred.
Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python are essential.
Expertise in system monitoring and observability frameworks like Coralogix or OpenTelemetry is required.
Candidates should have experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and operational readiness best practices.
A working knowledge of version control systems and git workflows is necessary.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional Agile teams are required.
A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to reliability and delivery excellence is essential.
