Snap Class is seeking a Python Developer / Data Engineer to join their team and help bring their AI-powered data analytics platform to market.
The role involves building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Python, ensuring the system is scalable, secure, and well-structured.
The developer will collaborate with the wider team to understand requirements and deliver seamless solutions.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of backend-related challenges and implementing effective solutions.
The position requires staying updated with AI data engineering advancements and exploring integration opportunities into the platform.
The job is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with a need to overlap with the European team for at least 4-5 hours daily, including a mandatory call at 12:00 UTC.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience working with Python.
A strong knowledge of data engineering best practices, including experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or general data pipeline experience, is required.
The ability to work independently and take full ownership of tasks is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think beyond just writing code are necessary.
Great communication skills are required to work effectively with non-technical team members.
Bonus points for experience building AI-powered applications, familiarity with a range of Data Lake and Warehouse technologies, and a strong passion for learning and staying updated with the latest trends in development.
Benefits:
The position offers a salary range of $4,500 - $6,500 per month, which is negotiable.
It is a fully remote role with flexible working hours.
Employees receive 30 days of paid vacation per year.
There are 5 days of paid sick leave available.
