The position is for a Software Developer in Test focused on AWS backup & recovery and other products.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable test code.
The role involves building and implementing test approaches and improvements to automation.
Creating Test Plans and automating them is a key task.
The candidate will be scripting and automating tasks in various languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
The position requires partnering with developers and Q&A to enhance and automate tests.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex incidents discovered by CI/CD is also part of the job.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of development experience with JavaScript is required.
Experience in script creation using Bash, PowerShell, and Python is necessary.
A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience is expected.
Experience in end-to-end test development with Playwright or a different test framework is considered an advantage.
An understanding of the Page Object Model test design pattern is also beneficial.
