Remote Software Developer

• We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• In this role, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle — from translating requirements into design, to coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play an active role in architecture, documentation, and technical standards, delivering reliable enterprise-level systems.

• Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing high-quality, secure, and scalable software systems, translating functional and technical requirements into working solutions, optimizing code for performance, security, and maintainability, producing technical documentation and architectural artifacts, estimating effort and time required for development tasks, defining and upholding software development standards, proposing solutions to technical challenges and business needs, collecting and interpreting software metrics and performance data, managing software configurations and releases, contributing to QA, testing, deployment, and change management processes, building and testing prototypes and technical proof-of-concepts, and providing 2nd and 3rd line support when necessary.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in IT/software development is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of project experience in a similar role or profile is required.
• Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software is essential.
• Knowledge of UML and the ability to design across data, business, and UI layers is required.
• Familiarity with Scrum development methodologies is necessary.
• The ability to document technical solutions clearly and effectively is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team collaboration mindset are essential.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• EU citizenship is required.
