Description:

  • ProSidian is seeking a Junior Software Developer to provide IT System Lifecycle Development and Management Support Services for the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) on behalf of the FDA.
  • The role involves project management services and the development, maintenance, and enhancement of CFSAN systems.
  • Responsibilities include providing Custom Computer Programming Services, maintaining and evolving code, scripts, views, triggers, jobs, designs, documentation, reports, and templates.
  • The contractor will establish an ordering vehicle for existing and future Computer to Plate (CTP) systems, processing structured and unstructured data.
  • The position will require training services for CFSAN stakeholders on existing applications and newly developed applications.
  • The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) includes nine task areas, such as project management, operations and maintenance support, systems integration, data migration, and training support.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources programs, particularly in large organizations.
  • Successful experience in designing and implementing compensation and pay-for-performance programs is required.
  • Expertise in job analysis and evaluation, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption determinations, is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a solid technical background in software and systems, with knowledge of telecommunications, computer languages, and database management.
  • Familiarity with SEI/CMM and/or ISO 9001 environments is desirable.
  • Proficiency in business tools, especially Microsoft Office, is required, with advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
