Remote Software Developer - VOIP

Description:

• We are seeking a recent graduate or early-career software engineer to join our R&D team specializing in Voice over IP (VoIP).
• This position offers training and mentorship from industry experts in VoIP technology.
• You will learn to design, build, and maintain voice services for our global platform.
• No prior VoIP knowledge is required; a passion for technology and a solid programming foundation are essential.
• You will work with open-source applications like FreeSWITCH and OpenSIPS to create reliable and scalable solutions.
• The role involves gaining a deep understanding of core voice protocols like SIP and RTP, developing high-quality code, debugging issues, implementing tests, collaborating with team members, and dedicating time to continuous learning.

Requirements:

• A recent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• A solid foundation in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, or Go is necessary.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and a logical, analytical mindset.
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn and expand technical skills are essential.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, including source control systems like Git, is required.
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English are necessary, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
