As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing production-level software in coordination with your team.
You will work closely with Product Owners and your Manager, Software Development.
Your responsibilities include becoming a go-to expert in one area of the codebase, scoping work into well-defined milestones, and delivering software on time.
You will own the technical testing and performance plan for your work and take initiative to identify and solve important problems.
You will proactively tackle technical debt and understand the trade-offs between technical, analytical, and product needs.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of experience in software development.
Excellent problem-solving, programming, and communication skills are required.
You should be able to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The ability to own small-to-medium sized features from design to implementation is necessary.
Experience in C#, SQL, and Javascript is required.
It is a plus to have a passion for QA and an understanding that testing is not someone else’s responsibility.
A passion for DevOps and an appreciation for continuous integration/deployment is also desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, event-driven architectures, service-oriented architectures, and Vue.js is a nice to have.
