The role is for an experienced Software Development Engineer III (SDE3) in the Core team, focusing on vertical-specific scheduling features for meetings, services, and rentals.
The SDE3 will work on backend-heavy full stack features, including workflows, payments, lead generation, form submissions, notifications, and search.
Collaboration with platform, booking engine, and integrations teams is essential to ensure scalable, intuitive, and flexible solutions across industries.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend systems and API design.
Deep expertise in Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript, and distributed system fundamentals is required.
Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases at scale is necessary.
The ability to work end-to-end across the stack, particularly in owning backend complexity and integrating with UI components, is essential.
A solid understanding of async workflows, queues, background jobs, webhooks, and system state transitions is required.
Familiarity with GCP services or a willingness to engage with them is expected.
Openness to using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Github Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate development and improve code quality is important.
Strong debugging and system design skills, along with the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions, are necessary.
