Description:

• Cyberhaven is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product free from defects.
• The role involves architecting and developing a safety net to prevent bugs from sneaking through, contributing to a modern test automation platform.
• The position requires close collaboration with development and product teams, as well as company founders and executives.
• The tech stack includes a rich UI, a microservices-based backend, and deep integration with Windows, macOS, and Linux, along with various cloud APIs.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable test frameworks, performing API, UI, and end-to-end testing of the AI data lineage engine, leveraging AI for test automation, building CI/CD pipelines, delivering automated tests across multiple applications, supporting release preparation, and collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation and testing of product specifications.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be software engineers with experience in architecting and scaling automated test systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of the primary programming languages: Golang, Python, or TypeScript is essential.
• A passion for writing clean code and building innovative solutions is required.
• A "break-it" mindset is necessary to anticipate, identify, and prevent subtle bugs and edge cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing of APIs and web applications, including performance testing, is required.
• Strong knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions, is essential.
• Candidates should have high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining top-tier product quality.
• A solid understanding of client-server architecture, REST APIs, gRPC, and streaming protocols is necessary.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, agile environment is required.
