Description:

  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation solutions, leveraging AI-assisted tools for test case generation, and integrating GenAI-based testing solutions.
  • The SDET III will evaluate automation test results, maintain scripts, and assist in identifying viable test strategies to support product functionality testing.
  • The position requires understanding Bitly's architecture to design comprehensive test plans for new feature development and maintaining a suite of manual regression tests, automated UI tests, and automated API tests.
  • The role also involves determining the root cause of problems, reporting on production quality, and communicating testing outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience in JavaScript and/or Node JS.
  • Experience in test automation using WebDriver IO, Cypress, or Mocha is required.
  • A good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, test design approaches, and processes is essential.
  • Experience in building and maintaining API and/or UI automation suites is necessary.
  • Candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot continuous integration issues.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, TabNine, Kite) for test development is required.
  • Strong judgment in validating AI-generated test logic and maintaining quality in the automation suite is necessary.
  • Candidates should be comfortable learning and evaluating new AI-enhanced QA tools and workflows.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in adopting emerging AI capabilities within QA processes are important.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
  • A strong advocate for quality and accessibility is essential.
  • Bonus points for relevant background in Software Engineering (Front-End) and experience with Golang.
