As a software engineer, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to understand customer needs, design effective systems, and create high-quality product experiences.
The technology stack includes TypeScript for both frontend and backend, Postgres, and React, although prior experience with these technologies is not mandatory.
In this role, you will be responsible for owning the scoping, design, and development of product features.
You will also identify and resolve bugs and technical debt, and collaborate with the Support team to address technical issues faced by customers.
Requirements:
A strong technical background with at least 4 years of experience as a software engineer is required.
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in building web application backends.
Experience in frontend development is a plus, but not a requirement.
You must be able to think critically about problems to ensure the right solutions are being built at the right time, and be willing to push back when necessary.
Your designs should consider current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance, with the ability to clearly articulate tradeoffs.
You should be committed to sharing your knowledge and experience to help elevate your colleagues.
