Description:

  • As a software engineer, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to understand customer needs, design effective systems, and create high-quality product experiences.
  • The technology stack includes TypeScript for both frontend and backend, Postgres, and React, although prior experience with these technologies is not mandatory.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for owning the scoping, design, and development of product features.
  • You will also identify and resolve bugs and technical debt, and collaborate with the Support team to address technical issues faced by customers.

Requirements:

  • A strong technical background with at least 4 years of experience as a software engineer is required.
  • You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in building web application backends.
  • Experience in frontend development is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • You must be able to think critically about problems to ensure the right solutions are being built at the right time, and be willing to push back when necessary.
  • Your designs should consider current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance, with the ability to clearly articulate tradeoffs.
  • You should be committed to sharing your knowledge and experience to help elevate your colleagues.
