As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a small team developing next-generation tools for fleets, working on end-to-end features in collaboration with Product, Design, and customers.
Responsibilities include developing backend code, APIs, and frontend UI, maintaining monitoring and alerting infrastructure, ensuring observability for features, influencing technical direction, and shaping team culture and processes.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in backend system development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is required.
Knowledge of distributed system design patterns and unit testing frameworks is essential.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, along with empathy for customers and colleagues, are necessary.
Candidates should possess strong design intuition and the ability to tackle ambiguous engineering challenges.
Experience with browser automation tools like Selenium or Playwright is preferred.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems is required.
An interest or experience in AI and machine learning is a plus.
