Remote Software Engineer - C#

Description:

• Lingraphica is a mission-driven organization that provides speech-generating devices to improve communication for people with communication impairments.
• The company is seeking a Software Engineer to join their product engineering team, focusing on the development of AAC speech-generating devices and supporting services.
• The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to build, test, and maintain high-quality software.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for speech-generating devices, writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, contributing to testing efforts, and supporting software in production.
• The position requires participation in Agile team events and contributions to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C# is mandatory.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs using Node.js is required.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub, is necessary.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is essential.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Unity development, cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Java/Kotlin for Android development, and familiarity with Large Language Models and modern AI APIs.

• The starting salary range for this position is between $84,000 and $100,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
