  • Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based services for IoT solutions, collaborating with engineers, implementing scalable architectures, optimizing services, developing APIs, ensuring data security, troubleshooting issues, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with industry trends.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on cloud services and IoT.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (preferred), AWS, or Azure is necessary.
  • Strong programming skills in Java (required), Python, or Go are essential.
  • Experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and edge computing is required.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, monitoring) is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are required.
  • This role is remote but available in California, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Utah, with a preference for candidates who can work onsite in Los Altos, CA several times per month.

Benefits:

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $200,000 - $245,000, with actual pay determined by various factors.
