The Consumer organization at Opendoor is responsible for creating comprehensive digital experiences for home sellers and buyers.
The team is currently expanding its product offerings to better serve customers during significant transactions.
The role is for a product-focused senior fullstack Engineer who will help transform the technical architecture and user experience into a multi-product, personalized experience.
Responsibilities include working with product and design teams to solve user problems, building extensible full-stack products, collaborating with engineers across the organization, contributing to technical standards and software quality, and working with the operations team to enhance customer service efficiency.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in building and delivering high-quality, web-based user-centered software products in a team environment.
A deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, GraphQL, HTML5, and CSS is required.
Experience in building large, modular, and maintainable JavaScript code bases and reusable UI components is necessary.
Candidates should have experience and a willingness to engage with backend code to deliver product features and debug issues, with a preference for knowledge in Ruby on Rails or Go.
Experience working closely with cross-functional partners, such as engineering, design, and operations, to deliver value to customers is essential.
Benefits:
The base pay range for this position is $143,400-$196,900 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses, with variations based on work location and qualifications.
