As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
This role is available for full-time remote work or as a hybrid position based in CDMX, allowing for office visits.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with a focus on Node.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs is required.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) is necessary.
Knowledge of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling is required.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is also a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the internal communication language at Jeeves.
