As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
This role is available for full-time remote work or as a hybrid position based in São Paulo, Brazil, with the option to work from the office.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with a focus on Node.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs is required.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, is necessary.
Knowledge of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling is required.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the internal communication language at Jeeves.
