Remote Software Engineer- Data Engineering (Attribution team)

Description:

• GroundTruth is an advertising platform that transforms real-world behavior into effective marketing strategies that drive in-store visits and other business results.
• The company utilizes observed consumer behavior, including location and purchase data, to create targeted advertising campaigns across various screens.
• The Attribution Team is looking for a Data Engineering Software Engineer to design and manage data pipelines that connect user engagement data to optimize ad performance.
• The role involves engineering scalable solutions for accurate attribution across the GroundTruth ecosystem and creating seamless data flows for reliable analytics and decision-making using big data technologies like MapReduce, Spark, and Glue.
• Responsibilities include creating and maintaining ingestion pipelines, building infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading, collaborating with stakeholders, preparing specifications and designs, participating in code reviews, testing products, maintaining applications, and contributing ideas for platform improvement.

Requirements:

• A degree in Tech./B.E./M.Tech./MCA or equivalent in computer science is required.
• Candidates should have 3-4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines is necessary.
• Proficiency in AWS Stack for Data Engineering, including EC2, S3, EMR, ECS, Lambda, and Step functions, is required.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Java for orchestrating data pipelines is essential.
• Candidates must have experience in writing analytical queries using SQL.
• Familiarity with Airflow and Docker is required.
• Proficiency in Git is necessary.
