Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Data engineering.
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive, is necessary.
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake is expected.
Experience with real-time data processing and streaming platforms such as Kafka or Flink is required.
Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems, databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems is essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a low ego, team-spirited mindset are important.
Candidates should demonstrate ownership and the capacity to ship products end-to-end, along with excellent communication skills.
The ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter is also required.
