The role is for a Drupal Software Engineer to support the modernization of a Federal client’s Drupal-based Data Catalog platform.
The Data Catalog platform serves as a central hub for datasets, governance documentation, applications, and system metadata.
The position involves re-architecting the platform to improve scalability, usability, and integration within the client’s digital ecosystem.
The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and the internal team of designers and engineers in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Responsibilities include leading the re-architecture and implementation of the Data Catalog, building and maintaining custom content types, developing secure API integrations, and troubleshooting Drupal performance.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Drupal development in full-stack or back-end roles.
A deep knowledge of Drupal module development, custom content types, views, permissions, and performance tuning is required.
Proficiency in integrating Drupal with cloud-based data platforms and APIs, especially Acquia and/or AWS services, is necessary.
Experience in implementing secure, scalable architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles is essential.
Strong experience working in Agile environments with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Tier 4 Public Trust Clearance.
Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts are mandatory.
