Pano AI is a growth stage start-up focused on early wildfire detection and intelligence, headquartered in San Francisco.
The Frontend Engineer will strategize, design, and execute the user interface and experience for a single-page application dedicated to early wildfire detection.
Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the product team to enhance map functionality, improving a custom canvas video player, and extending React application functionality.
The engineer will deliver thoroughly tested, accessible solutions while adhering to best practices and ensuring cross-device compatibility.
Key tasks include leading feature development, maintaining and enhancing the existing codebase, conducting code reviews, advocating for code quality, contributing to evolving coding standards, evaluating new technologies, prioritizing technical debt, managing legacy applications, debugging, and integrating REST APIs.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, demonstrating proficiency in developing Frontend applications.
Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, Typescript, React, React Testing Library, Jest, and a state management solution like Redux (Recoil is used).
Proven expertise in utilizing Design Systems like Material Design and component libraries such as Material-UI.
Effective communication skills to share insights and collaborate with the team.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, and Backend.
Preference for candidates located in the PST or MT time zone.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000 per year, based on qualifications, education, experience, and location.
The position is eligible for stock options.
