Description:

  • This role will be joining our growing and talented engineering team at Fiscal.ai, a leading research and data platform for capital markets.
  • As a fast-growing company, you will be building at the intersection of AI and finance.
  • The engineering team has two main responsibilities: building the Fiscal.ai Terminal product and building the Fiscal.ai Financial Data infrastructure (and API product).
  • Both responsibilities require a deep understanding of the full stack, large language models (LLMs), and finance.
  • Candidates should be a "10x engineer" who can write good code quickly; years of experience are less important than performance.
  • The position is remote with occasional in-person work in our co-working space in downtown Toronto.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and NextJS is required.
  • Candidates must have experience working with large language models (LLMs).
  • A strong background in working with and/or building APIs is essential.
  • Experience with data parsing and large databases is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Proven experience or a strong interest in investing and finance is essential, as the platform is built by investors for investors.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred, though exceptions may be made for self-taught candidates.
  • Candidates should have experience or interest in AI technologies, specifically large language models (LLMs).
  • A keen eye for design, UI, and UX is important.
  • Candidates must be based in Canada.
