  • The role is for a Software Engineer based in Sydney, joining the Growth Product team, which is responsible for key areas of the website including property reports, credit scores, calculators, landing pages, web content, and customer acquisition funnels.
  • The Software Engineer will influence the engineering team’s culture and processes, impacting architecture, design, coding, deployment, and support.
  • Responsibilities include designing and delivering robust and scalable solutions, owning the code built by the team, writing clean and maintainable code, collaborating with the Product/UX team, and continuously improving team processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in ReactJS, preferably using Typescript.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in NodeJS is required.
  • Experience in developing RESTful Services and aligning API contracts with other teams is necessary.
  • Proficient understanding of Git and source code management tools such as Bitbucket or GitHub is essential.
  • A strong interest in learning and writing various types of automated tests, including unit, integration, and performance tests, is expected.
  • Previous experience in a similar role as part of an agile team is required.
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI-powered tools to support engineering tasks is preferred.
