The company seeks experienced AI Engineers to lead the development and implementation of AI-driven capabilities across the organization.
This role is critical for introducing cutting-edge AI tooling, defining best practices, and building custom models to solve real business problems.
The position involves partnering with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact use cases, architect and deploy robust AI solutions, and shape the company’s broader AI strategy.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in machine learning, LLMs, and MLOps, along with strategic thinking and stakeholder influence.
The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with locations in Aliso Viejo, CA, Santa Monica, CA, or New York, NY.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing AI tooling, developing custom machine learning models, establishing AI/ML best practices, collaborating with teams, leading AI platform integration, creating documentation, monitoring model performance, and staying current with AI technologies.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is required.
Candidates should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and AI development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.
Experience with ML Ops tools and practices such as ML flow, Kubeflow, and DVC is required.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture is needed.
Candidates must be proficient in Python and at least one other programming language (C#, R, Java, Scala).
Strong experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their ML services is necessary.
Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation is required.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
It is preferred to have a Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
Candidates with 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role, are preferred.
Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in AI systems is a plus.
A background in consulting or working with multiple business stakeholders is desirable.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences are important.

The anticipated gross base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 USD, with actual compensation varying based on qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
