The Software Engineer II, Frontend (Growth) will join the Growth web team to help optimize user journeys using ReactJS and NextJS.
This position is remote, but employees in the San Francisco Bay Area are encouraged to come into the office one day a week.
Responsibilities include designing, building, and implementing new web components and product features, analyzing and optimizing client-side UI code, and working with React/HTML/CSS.
The engineer will coordinate tasks with teammates, collaborate with the company to refine requirements, own the A/B testing framework, identify and squash bugs, and analyze SEO profiles and core web vitals.
Participation in an on-call rotation is also required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of software engineering experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Javascript/Typescript frameworks such as React or Angular, along with related tooling (NPM, Webpack, Eslint, Redux, etc.) is required.
A passion for A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and creative collaboration is essential.
Familiarity with the entire stack, including web servers, application layers, caching, and databases is necessary.
Experience with responsive layouts and frameworks such as Sass is required.
Candidates should be able to communicate technical concepts and limitations to non-technical stakeholders.
A strong sense of ownership and experience in self-managing workloads while communicating updates to stakeholders is important.

Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000 per year, with starting salary determined by skills, experience, training, and other factors.
