Remote Software Engineer II, Full Stack

Description:

• The company is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer for its Web Core team, which focuses on core web initiatives and supports other web teams.
• Responsibilities include assisting in building new experiences for the Greenlight website, collaborating with domain teams, product managers, and designers.

• The engineer will help implement incremental features while balancing new development with technical debt.

Requirements:

• A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of software development experience.
• The ability to frequently context switch in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• An eye towards performance, scalability, and observability is necessary.
• Experience in building single-page applications using a modern framework is required.
• Candidates should have experience building REST APIs and recent experience with backend services using Node.js.
• Understanding of the build/measure/learn process and lean startup skills is important.
