The Software Engineer II, Fullstack is responsible for building fast, accessible, and thoughtfully designed products.
You will collaborate with Product and Design teams to shape application architecture, enhance user experiences, improve developer workflows, and support robust deployment and testing strategies.
You will partner with product managers to lead the technical planning of member experience improvements.
The role involves contributing across the full stack of web technology, including frontend, API, and backend.
You will design systems that span multiple services to allow consistent, fast, clean data flow.
Swiftly addressing any issues and investing in resolutions that improve the product's reliability going forward is expected.
You will participate in and influence technical decisions of the wider Applications Engineering team.
Promoting software engineering best practices across teams is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience creating and maintaining APIs, including REST and GraphQL, is required.
You should have experience delivering scalable, reliable, high-quality user experiences.
Hands-on experience with full stack development is necessary.
Familiarity with current technologies such as React, Go, GraphQL, Docker, or AWS is a bonus.
Physical requirements include the capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods and having the eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, computer, and other office-related equipment.
