Dandy is hiring Software Engineers to join their rapidly scaling technology organization.
As an early engineer at Dandy, you will play a key role in the success of the team and the company.
You will be challenged to learn new technologies and will have the freedom to solve problems independently.
The technology stack includes TypeScript, NodeJS, NestJS, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, and GCP.
Responsibilities include developing new features and improvements for Dandy’s products, ensuring security, testing, and performance.
You will participate in evolving an analog experience into a modern, scalable product and collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders.
You will contribute to discussions on product quality, security, and performance, and help implement improvements.
The role involves solving unique technical problems, writing clean and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and identifying areas for improvement in team efficiency.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment.
A collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented mindset is essential.
Comfort in a highly agile and intensely iterative software development process is required.
Effective communication skills to achieve consensus with peers and provide clear status updates are necessary.
Experience in owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution, is expected.
Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills are required.
Ability to thrive in a remote-first organization is essential.
