The Software Engineer III will work on a multi-tenant Phoenix app that powers three motorcycle/powersports-centric eCommerce brands: RevZilla, Cycle Gear, and J&P Cycles.
The role involves being a front-end-focused full-stack developer.
Responsibilities include working closely with UX and Marketing to build new features and functionality.
The candidate should enjoy working with HTML/CSS/JS and find delight in modular and scalable design/code.
The engineer will architect and implement Design System concepts.
The position requires leading projects by taking high-level system initiatives and breaking them down into workable user stories for the team.
Requirements:
The candidate must have Elixir/Phoenix production experience, with Ruby/Rails also being acceptable.
eCommerce development experience is required.
Strong skills in CSS and HTML are necessary.
The candidate should have experience working with design systems at scale.
Expertise in under-the-hood browser performance, including monitoring and improvement, is essential.
The applicant should have operated at the Senior Software Engineer or similar level previously.
