The Infrastructure Team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure foundation that supports the operation of applications and services.
The team ensures the availability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems while optimizing network, storage, and server infrastructure using the latest AWS technologies.
The position is remote, open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
Responsibilities include enhancing AWS infrastructure, managing critical databases, developing infrastructure services, setting up automation tools, conducting security reviews, and creating documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Backend engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS or another cloud provider is required.
Strong programming, system design, and scripting skills are essential.
Experience with database management is considered an asset.
A deep understanding of infrastructure as code and application/network security is necessary.
Candidates should have experience setting up complex AWS environments with Terraform.
Familiarity with existing technologies such as Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, Boundary, Consul, Waypoint, Redis, Aerospike, Go, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RDS, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Envoy, and Nginx is a large plus.
