The Software Engineer (Integration) will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing API, CSV, and blockchain data feeds from a wide range of providers.
The role involves continuously improving and expanding the suite of over 3,500 integrations to ensure users receive complete and accurate transaction histories for seamless tax calculations.
The engineer will use internal monitoring tools to proactively track integration health and performance, identify potential issues early, and prevent regressions before they affect end users.
Responsibilities include triaging, prioritizing, and managing bugs or issues related to integrations, ensuring that high-impact problems are resolved efficiently and effectively.
The engineer will independently investigate and resolve ambiguous technical issues related to integrations, taking ownership of debugging, troubleshooting, and driving issues to closure.
Collaboration with the product team is essential to identify and implement improvements in existing integrations, providing clear, timely updates to support, product, and other cross-functional teams regarding issue status and resolution.
The role requires anticipating challenges and proactively suggesting and implementing improvements to integration systems, processes, and workflows to increase efficiency and performance.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript is required.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript is essential.
Experience with API development, testing, and integration is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail are required.
Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote environment.
A highly proactive and action-oriented mindset is important for this role.
The ability to self-manage and drive initiatives independently is crucial.
