Remote Software Engineer, Java - Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

Description:

• The position is for a Software Engineer specializing in Java at Tietoevry Create, located in Gdańsk/Gdynia, Warsaw, or Łódź.
• Candidates should have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience.
• The role involves developing and maintaining high-performance payment processing applications using Java (Java 8 or later).
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure, scalable transaction services within a banking/payments environment.
• The engineer will integrate and optimize payment gateways, SWIFT protocols, and financial transaction services.
• Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and security standards is a key aspect of the job.
• Collaboration with teams to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have expertise in Java (Java 8 or later) with clean coding practices and unit testing.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, JPA, Kafka, PL/SQL, and DB2 is required.
• Strong experience in designing and working with RESTful APIs (Swagger) is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization is essential.
• A deep understanding of payment systems, SWIFT protocols, and banking processes is required.
• Exposure to API testing and fintech integrations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, SAFe, and DevOps best practices is necessary.
• Experience with JavaScript and AngularJS is considered a plus.
