  • The Software team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting software that empowers nELISA users.
  • The software stack includes a full-stack LIMS, data pipelines for flow cytometry experiments, and a customer-facing web portal for data visualization and analysis.
  • As a Software Engineer, you will build core components of the nELISA software stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsibilities include writing software components, developing internal tools, creating efficient analysis pipelines, and improving interfaces with lab automation equipment.
  • The role requires substantial communication and teamwork with various internal users and customers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 4+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience writing code in the biotech and/or life sciences industry is required.
  • Technical skills in algorithm development, signal processing, image analysis, computational biology, or bioinformatics are necessary.
  • Experience in developing data analysis pipelines and algorithms for biochemical assays such as ELISA, flow cytometry, mass spec, or NGS is essential.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience working in a small software team is necessary, along with the ability to rapidly prototype and code modular software.
  • Experience developing extensions on existing LIMS, interfacing with lab equipment, or establishing high-performance data pipelines is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and independent problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Fluency in English is required for interaction with customers and team members in the USA.
