Remote Software Engineer - .Net/C#, Navisworks

Description:

• Doxel AI aims to revolutionize the construction industry by providing automated feedback loops through computer vision technology.

• As a Navisworks Engineer, you will create tools within Navisworks to capture, process, and visualize project data for Doxel customers.
• You will collaborate with various teams including VDC engineers, Product, Design, and Backend to deliver user-friendly experiences.
• Your work will impact decision-making for foremen, project managers, and executives on job sites globally.
• Responsibilities include developing AEC plugins using .NET (C#), designing Windows-based applications, optimizing plugin performance, and ensuring software quality through testing and monitoring.
• You will also mentor other engineers and stay updated with Navisworks API developments.

Requirements:

• You must have 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Navisworks plugin development.
• Strong programming skills in C#/.NET and experience with the Navisworks API and Windows application development are required.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Forge, Revit API, or BIM data integration is a plus.
• A strong understanding of 3D model visualization, performance optimization, and state management is necessary.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, database integrations, and modern software development practices is expected.
• Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing Windows-based applications is essential.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment is required.
• You should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
