The role involves designing interfaces and building software to enable engineers to self-service their network infrastructure.
Responsibilities include using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) to define and operate large global networks.
Build a network platform to provide ubiquitous access to services between multiple cloud service providers and regions.
Collaborate with stakeholders and other platform teams to develop Canva’s cloud platform products.
Requirements:
Candidates should have infrastructure engineering skills with a platform product mindset, along with software and network engineering skills.
Experience with Golang is required.
A solid understanding of Cloud Networking in providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
A working understanding of network engineering principles and practices, including proficiency with networking protocols like IP, DNS, and TLS, as well as Kubernetes networking, is essential.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms to create secure, reliable, and performant systems is required.
Knowledge of web application architecture in the context of cloud providers is necessary.
Experience using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage cloud infrastructure is required.
Hands-on experience using AI in coding or programming to drive greater impact is preferred.
