Remote Software Engineer (Python)

Description:

• The role involves working on a large, single-tier (monolithic) application using Django as the primary framework.
• Responsibilities include building and optimizing backend features to ensure the application is stable, efficient, and scalable.
• The Python Engineer will work with SQL and MySQL databases to manage and retrieve data, ensuring all queries are optimized for peak performance.
• The position requires structuring different components of the application, handling user requests, and maintaining smooth interaction between various parts of the system to deliver a seamless experience for end users.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Python, demonstrating a strong grasp of the language.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Django is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and MySQL for database management is essential.
• The ideal candidate works well independently, takes initiative, and pays attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with team members and clients are necessary.
• Candidates should be able to adapt easily to different client environments, workflows, and coding standards.
• Experience with monolithic applications is required.
• This is a long-term 1-year contract position, full-time.
• Candidates can choose their contract type: Contractor or B2B.
