JumpCloud® is seeking a Software Engineer in the United States for a remote position.
The role involves building scalable, secure, and impactful backend systems.
The engineer will join a high-performing team focused on a modern identity and device management platform.
Responsibilities include developing backend features and services, delivering high-quality code, and collaborating with Product, UX, and CloudOps teams.
The engineer will support architectural decisions for scalability and performance, participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and production deployments.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in backend systems.
Proficiency in Golang or Node.js is required, along with experience in developing cloud-based SaaS applications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations is necessary, with familiarity in gRPC being a bonus.
Experience in building distributed systems and working with microservices architecture is required, with containerization experience being a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines for efficient testing and deployment is essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team environments are required.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. and reside within one of the 50 states.

The position offers competitive annual compensation ranging from $135,000 to $160,000 (base + bonuses).
