Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience building and operating large-scale or distributed systems.
  • Strong software-design instincts are necessary, including modular code, tests, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Fluency in Python and one systems language (C++, Rust, Go, or Java) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration and schedulers such as Kubernetes or SLURM is essential.
  • Candidates should be comfortable profiling performance, optimizing I/O, and automating workflows.
  • A self-starter attitude, low-ego, collaborative spirit, and high energy are important traits for this role.
  • Nice-to-haves include exposure to ML workloads or data-processing pipelines, experience with GPU clusters or CUDA, and contributions to open-source projects or widely used internal tools.
