PayNearMe is seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to join their team, reporting to the Director of Engineering for the CSE team.
The role involves developing code against Rails 6.1 and building reusable tasks to reduce the flow of engineering work from support.
Responsibilities include building maintainable ISVs to connect systems to third parties, adding critical features to APIs, and assisting in the onboarding of new clients while solving escalations.
The engineer will be instrumental in building the next generation of internal tools and services.
Writing specifications for automated coverage of code is required, with a goal of maintaining over 95% coverage.
The position includes code reviews, where the engineer will review other developers' changes and vice versa.

A minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails and MySQL is required.

The position offers a base salary paid semi-monthly, with a range of $125,000 - $150,000 per year.
