The Software Engineer, Simulation will develop and maintain simulation test strategies and frameworks for autonomous driving.
This role involves designing, implementing, and executing simulation models and test suites.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and ensure system reliability.
Responsibilities include automating simulation tests within CI pipelines for comprehensive coverage and analyzing simulation data to drive performance improvements.
The position also requires optimizing test and simulation environments for scale and efficiency, as well as maintaining best practices in test design, documentation, and validation.
Requirements:
A Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
Strong proficiency in C++ and Python is necessary for this position.
Candidates must have experience with autonomous vehicle software stacks, specifically ROS/ROS2.
Familiarity with Linux and standard software development processes is essential.
Experience with simulation and testing tools such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Applied Intuition, and Foretellix is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must for this role.
